Amazon Web Services Restored

February 16, 2008

The problem that we experienced earlier today with Amazon’s S3 service has been resolved. There is no official notice as yet to explain what the problem was. All functionality has however been restored and site publishing is now enabled. We apologize yet again for any inconvenience caused and assure you that we will be taking steps to ensure that this problem is not repeated.

  1. . . . and I didn’t even notice there had been a problem!

Two things I’d like to be able to do - (1) copy or duplicate a widget to somewhere else on the same or another page; I’m a bit lazy, I guess! (2) see the dimensions of an image - I can do this rather faintly when the image is inserted in text, but not apparently when it’s a widget.
Perhaps these already exist and I am missing something.
It is still great using the builder.

  2. Hi Joy

This response is a bit late. I seem to have overlooked this comment somehow. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that I have seen it and taken note of these two requests and I will add them to the list.

    Greetings
    Monique

  4. Hi Aretha

I am sorry you are having this difficulty.

I copied the URL you sent me into my browser window and added .synthasite.com at the end of it. I added this because it is what completes the URL if you are using a free subdomain. When I added that I was able to access your site.
