Latest SynthaSite Release (2.2.4)

April 30, 2008

We’ve just released the latest set of SynthaSite features. The highlight is that the color palette of many of our styles can now be changed. We were really keen to get this feature out as soon as possible so that we could get your feedback so please let us know what you think! In the future we will make it possible for you to set individual properties of the style so that you can customize the look of your site to your hearts content. We’ll be rolling out many more color palettes over the next couple of weeks so please check back soon for updates.

Another highlight is the File Widget which is useful if you want your site visitors to download a file from your website. We’ve also added map markers to the Google Map Widget. We don’t want anyone getting lost now do we!?

For detailed information about the latest changes and bug fixes please refer to our release notes.

  1. Hey, im sort of new to THIS website provider so bear with me if i sound noob.. But i got a couple of good ideas for features that people should be able to add to their sites such as:
    1. an in-own-website forum — which would be good for clubs starting their own site.
    2. not too sure if you can set up security (such as password access) to parts of website but that would be nice..
    3. better, more-mocrosoftword-ish text input system simply for ease of use. Its good now, but it could be GREAT!!
    4. once again, dont know if im missing something but you should be able to add more than one ‘widget’ to a web page…

correct me if im wrong by all means.. Cheers!! xo

  2. Hi Alex

Welcome to SynthaSite. Thank you for the feature requests. Features 1,2,3 are all on our list.

Point 4: you can add as many widgets to your page as you wish. Simply drag and drop them onto your page in the order that you want them to appear.

If you have any questions related to building your site, please email support@synthasite.com or post to http://getsatisfaction.com/SynthaSite

    Best wishes
    Monique
