We’re excited to announce that our own Vinny Lingham (founder and CEO of SynthaSite) is in the running as a finalist for ITWeb’s IT Personality of the Year 2008 Awards. He is up against CEO’s and founders of top IT companies in South Africa such as Datacentrix, BSG and T-systems. The competition is tough and he needs your vote.

This is something that has given me a headstart and hopefully my site will grow to be one of the best. This website will serve as a living example of one of the pioneer IT journalists trying something for himself. I was among the five finalist in the Highway Africa Awards held in Grahamstown, South Africa in 2000 to honour journalists for the innovative use of the internet. This is going to be my baby after eight years and I thank Synthasite for giving me a platform.
